With the FBU National Championship approaching, being labeled the biggest team entering isn’t a far stretch when looking at their roster. With major depth at the quarterback position, size in the trenches, and size at the skilled positions Team Wisconsin will be a tough matchup for all opponents they encounter.
Offensive Approach: “Balanced”, is a word that describes their offensive expectations going into the FBU National Championship. With having a massive offensive line, look for them to establish the run and dare teams to stop them. Having a smash mouth mentality will open up many opportunities in the passing game as defenses wear down, down the stretch.
Defensive Approach: When having explosive defensive lineman, having an even front and letting the edge rushers condense the pocket will create opportunities for the entire defense. Controlling the line of scrimmage, and dominating in the back end will be keys for success. With having athletes with high motors all over the field, expect fire zone pressures or man pressures during the FBU National Championship.
The Dandy Four
Ryan Lempke I Defensive Line
At 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, Ryan is a lean machine with a high motor. Being able to move throughout all positions on the defensive line makes him extremely valuable, and will keep offenses off balanced. With using his explosive get offs, using his technique to spill and rip through blockers, and having a relentless attitude towards finishing plays Ryan Lempke is a top tier Dandy to look out for.
Mason Black Mason Black 6'5" | 215 lbs | DL Waukesha West | 2026 State WI I Defensive Line
Mason is a certified Dandy who has the ability to shut down an entire side of an offensive line. At 6-foot-6 and 185 pounds, using his length to get around blockers while also having explosive hip and hand movement makes him a nightmare for anyone. While being a wrestler for many years, using his hands to gain leverage and position has become instinctual which enables him to maneuver blockers at will. Be sure to look out for this Dandy to make some incredible plays at the FBU National Championship.
Andrew Jensen I Wide Receiver
A weapon is a thing that is designed or used to inflict harm or damage. Although Andrew may not intend to cause harm, I suspect he will break many hearts with his play during the FBU National Championship. At 6-foot-7 and 190 pounds, he is a certified Dandy that will win all jump balls coming his way. Although his size is impressive, he is a long strider that eats up ground with the ability to drop his weight on quick routes. With that combination, look for double teams and maybe triple teams with the hopes of containing this weapon.
Neeko Rogers I Running Back
Power, Speed, Athleticism, are all intangibles that can make you great. Neeko possesses all these characteristics which makes him a force on the football field. At 6-foot-1 and 270 pounds, he fits the mold for smash mouth football. With hitting the open holes hard, and following his protective and efficient offensive line look out for Neeko “Freight Train” Rogers to drag defenders all over the field. Don’t be shocked to see this Dandy move piles all the way down the field at the FBU National Championship.
