Ryan Held Ryan Held 6'2" | 285 lbs | OL/DL Skyline | 2027 State VA is a feisty run-blocker with a nasty attitude, and it’s obvious by how many defenders he drives into the ground each play. He has an excellent motor for an interior offensive lineman, which helps him continually drive defenders downfield until the whistle blows.

He’s a decent pass blocker but he sometimes plays too high, allowing defenders to get under his pads and drive him backwards before he can recover. As long as he works on keeping his center of gravity low and continues to dominate in the run game, Held could be seeing his recruiting interest spike as a senior.

Tough returning starting lineman for the Skyline Hawks will be debuting in our next update. He is now 6’2 and 285 lbs. coming along nicely, he is attracting college interest before his senior year approaches as well. I would expect to see him line up at noseguard more too, leading to an all conference type of season.

He got better as the showcase continued as well. During one-on-one competitions, he excelled at staying in front of defenders. He showed solid feet and did well staying in front of edge defenders.

I am for sure aware of rising senior lineman Ryan Held Ryan Held 6'2" | 285 lbs | OL/DL Skyline | 2027 State VA way more than I was before the showcase. Held had an excellent showing and he caught the attention of my colleague Pat Weider who was working with the linemen all day. Making our all camp second team particularly for his work during the 1vs1, Ryan Held Ryan Held 6'2" | 285 lbs | OL/DL Skyline | 2027 State VA caught a lot of coaches attention.
