As I viewed Hopkins film he is an outstanding prospect who can do it all for his team. There was moments when Hopkins was lined up as a receiver making catches for his team, he also contributed on special teams with his blazing speed. Now at his primary position (Running Back) he has great awareness, the ability to make you miss tackles paired with his ELITE change of direction this young man is special. Going into this upcoming season James will go up in his respected position ranking and he will continue to grow and be an elite talent.

Hopkins will be one of the fastest kids you will see in the entire Northwestern Region you will find out soon enough. He ran one the best 40 time on site at our Spring showcase at 4.66 with laser testing and I am convinced he can run it under 4.5.
