Expert Analysis
Matt DeBary | Prep Redzone Scout
One of the more underrated dual-threat quarterbacks in Gwinnett County, Parks is fresh off a remarkable senior season where he threw and ran on defenses on a weekly basis. He lit up the stat sheet for the Lions this fall as he threw for over 2,500 yards and 27 touchdowns while rushing for over 730 yards and seven more scores. He brings natural arm talent, can break tackles during runs, and really impressed this fall in his final season. Now, he’s ranked by Prep Redzone as the No. 32 QB prospect in the state for the 2026 class.

Rayshaun Parks Rayshaun Parks 6'0" | 200 lbs | QB Peachtree Ridge | 2026 State GA is extremely underrated and has an argument to be the best player in this 6A bracket that nobody is talking about. It’s been a prolific, near-blemish-free record for Parks as a senior, throwing 27 TDs against just 3 INTs. Parks is a stout 6’0 with a 3/4ths release and good control in the pocket. He can be drawn up opportunities as a runner and is another playmaker to account for. The biggest thing for me is that Parks gives his receivers a chance. Peachtree Ridge has some talent at receiver, but it takes a QB willing to take a shot and let them make a play. Parks has done that perfectly. He and the entire Peachtree Ridge squad will be tested from the jump against Newton.

The 6’1 185 Junior dual threat QB has had an outstanding year leading the Jaguars to an 8-2 season with their only losses coming to #7 Creekside and Mays.
Has a side arm delivery with enough arm strength to get the ball over the top of the defense in the post and fade routes. Accurate short route passer. Parks keeps the defense honest with his ability to make plays with his legs and posses enough speed to hurt you if he is left unaccounted for.
Good Junior year with good upside headed into the offseason.
