Kelly has been one of the more noteworthy QB prospects in GA over the last few years and has several D1 offers to his name. Kelly is an intriguing blend of size, athleticism, and arm talent. He has an elastic, natural delivery and generates enough velocity with his arm alone, even when mechanics aren’t crystal clean. He can evade pressure in creative ways and has the athletic juice to be more than just a chain mover as a runner. His long strides allow him to lift off from defenses, while he flashes explosive and sudden change of direction to redirect his body and get vertical. While he’s a good runner, he plays within the pocket well, proving capable of working through his reads and looking off defenders. Kelly will get a crack at the D1 level given he has traits that come through the screen and slap you in the face, while also being productive and efficient.
