Expert Analysis

Qalil can find the football and make plays with it. He operates with versatility defensively. He can be used as a safety or a corner, and has ball hawk abilities at both. Qalil is a great athlete and has good length. As a receiver, his athleticism shines. He can take the top off of a defense or get something thrown to him at the line of scrimmage. I am excited to see what Qalil can put on film this season.

I thought the overall best performance of the WR/DB group on the day may have been 2026 Aliquippa ATH Qalil Goode Qalil Goode 6'0" | 150 lbs | DB Aliquippa | 2026 State PA . He started the day as a defensive back, but did some good things as a receiver during 1-on-1s as well. He has potential at either position at the next level if he can continue to add mass to his long frame. Goode had possibly the best highlight of the day, going over the top of a defensive back and coming down with the ball. Goode added an offer from the Falcons for his showing and has since added more, including a pair from FCS programs.

Qalil Goode Qalil Goode 6'0" | 150 lbs | DB Aliquippa | 2026 State PA is an excellent athlete who plays as a wide receiver and as a defensive back for Aliquippa. At both positions, he shows good athleticism and speed. At defensive back, he does a great job of matching up and guarding wide receivers. He is equally as good in zone and man-to-man coverages. He has a great feel for the game and understands different coverage responsibilities well. At wide receiver, he runs good routes and shows good ability after the catch to make plays. Good is an excellent prospect in the 2026 class.

The 1st time I saw Qalil Goode Qalil Goode 6'0" | 150 lbs | DB Aliquippa | 2026 State PA was at the PIAA State Championship game. I was very impressed with his ability to play safely. He tracks the ball well as a safety. In his film, he repeatedly reads the quarterback’s eyes and goes and makes an interception. His closing speed from his safety position is impressive as he can chase downplays all over the field. Goode is also unafraid to come up and tackle in the open field. Goode has all the tools of an elite safety and I expect him to continue to grow in that area.

‘s name still buzzing a bit after his incredible Championship performance back in December. As we transition to the off-season, I fully expect Goode to catch the eyes of important people out west, especially if he camps with his Aliquippa teammates. Tape starts off with an interception out of a Cover 2 Shell from his safety spot. Narrowly missed ranking as a top five DB, yet he’s likely to move up our ranks, even if recruiting doesn’t pick up this Spring/Summer. Knack for the football, smart kid who can key smash, vert, flood, and level concepts on the go. Positions himself accordingly once the ball has left the hand of the QB. Disciplined, trusts his own skills and speed yet doesn’t overestimate his abilities. Capable of playing inside or outside slot positions if he has to come down from his safety position. Kid is seasoned enough I wouldn’t be surprised to learn he can play OTN CB. With the program success, and eyes on prospects like Tikey Hayes and

, Goode is a name that could build up steam this Spring/Summer. I’d circle his name if seen at camp.
