Expert Analysis
Alin Edouard | Prep Redzone Scout
Peyton showed a technician’s approach in a setting that exposes every detail. In individual periods, his footwork was compact and efficient with no wasted movement, no crossing over, staying square through his sets. He demonstrated strong body control, keeping his weight centered and absorbing contact without overextending.
During one-on-one competition, Peyton won with timing and placement rather than just power. He was patient with his punch, waited for defenders to declare a move, then locked in and steered them off track. When initially stressed, he showed the ability to re-anchor and recover, which is critical in a camp setting without pads. His consistency from rep to rep stood out — steady, composed, and fundamentally sound throughout the day.

Kennedy had a breakout performance and has firmly established himself as one of Anna’s primary offensive weapons. The senior wideout exploded for seven receptions, 161 yards, and four touchdowns, averaging 23 yards per catch. His quickness, crisp route running, and ability to separate off the line made him nearly impossible to cover. Kennedy also showed strong hands and body control, consistently making tough catches in traffic. Expect his recruitment to heat up quickly—he has the tools to be a steal for the right college program.

Miller is a technician along the offensive line, he has nimble feet with excellent short area quickness, he has an explosive burst at the snap of the ball and his ability to deliver a stiff punch at impact allows him to gain control of his opponents early at engagement. At 6’4 285 pounds, Peyton has an extended reach with a lean frame with ability to add healthy bulk. He uses he arm length to his advantage with superb hand placement at engagement, he has violent hands that he uses to stun defenders and his piston like leg drive enables him to drive defenders off their axis. Miller plays with a nasty streak, he finishes his blocks through the whistle and he is a ferocious blocker in the running game. He was a wall at the left tackle position for Anna, showing the ability to get into his kick slide quickly and his ability to bend well at the hip allows him to wipe out rushers in pass protection. A First-Team All-District Selection, as well as a Freshman All-American Award, were several accolades that Miller received in 2023 while helping lead Anna to a state title. His offseason started with a bang, picking up 8 offers in the month of January from the likes of SMU, Tulsa, TCU, Houston, Texas A&M, Pittsburgh, Penn State and Arkansas. Miller returns to anchor the Anna offensive line in 2024 as one the top players in the state of Texas in the class of 2027.

is another Texas offensive lineman that I am very excited about in the class of 2027. The 6’3 Northern Texas product comes to us from Anna, Texas, and moves VERY well for his size–even with his size 16 feet. Among the many things that sold me on this kid, the one that stood out most to me was a clip of him running on the rugby pitch. With his awesome display of speed and power, Peyton has proven explosion and a level of nastiness that is hard to come by. In the trenches, Peyton has the drive to move people all over the field. Peyton also has the instinct to throw downfield blocks and spring the ball into the end zone. Overall, Peyton is an offensive line coach’s dream. Texas High School football better watch out for Miller when he is out on the field.
