At 6′0″, 200 lbs, Carter brings a powerful, physical presence to the Longhorn backfield and his elite lateral agility enables him to break big runs. He plays with fury, breaking tackles and making defenders miss and is likely to shoulder a heavy workload against Midlothian.

Juelz came to TCU camp ready to impress, and his on field skills matched the excitement from his 2024 highlight tape. Throughout last season, his tape showed a back with explosive acceleration, sharp cuts, and an ability to break tackles in tight space. You could see his vision and patience paying off as he consistently found creases and turned small gains into big plays.

A physical back with a strong frame and excellent contact balance, Carter excels running between the tackles and thrives in short-yardage and goal-line situations. He shows good short-area quickness and a nose for the end zone. With his power and vision, look for Carter to be the centerpiece of the Longhorns’ offense in 2025.

Carter made a statement with several big runs in Cedar Hill’s opening week win 41-7 vs Midlothian. He has a compact, stout build, he runs with excellent forward lean and he runs with power between the tackles. He has the power to break arm tackles and when he gets to the second level he is load for defensive backs to deal with in the open field. Carter was able to get in the end zone in game one for the Longhorns and he will be a young rusher to keep an eye on as the Longhorns travel to Allen for a big game this week.
