Houston is ready to take his game to another level heading into the 2026 season. After showing flashes last year while still developing, he enters this offseason with a different mindset, putting in the work and focusing on refining his craft. With more experience under his belt and a commitment to improving the details of his game, Houston is looking to make a bigger impact and show how much he has grown. He holds offers from UTSA and Oklahoma.
Houston’s film shows a versatile athlete who makes plays all over the field, blending speed, agility, and natural instincts in a way that consistently puts him around the ball. He flashes explosive burst in both open space and contested situations, quickly closing down lanes or breaking on the ball, and his change-of-direction ability allows him to stay in plays that look blocked or lost to others. What stands out most is his competitive feel — he reads the action quickly, reacts decisively, and finishes plays with aggression, whether it’s pursuing a runner, disrupting a route, or making a tackle in traffic
A magnificent route runner with stellar footwork and little wasted movement, Houston emerged as a star playmaker for the Coyotes in his rookie year. He excels at breaking down at the top of his routes and exploding out of his breaks. For a young receiver, he also has a great feel for finding the tight windows in zone coverage. He then utilizes his long frame and strong hands to reel in contested catches throughout a wide catch radius. Cor’Mond totaled 500 yards and 7 TDs this season and is expected to see his role and production grow immensely in 2026. He has received an offer from UTSA.
Houston was one of the youngest players on the field but already looks like a future star. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound freshman recorded three catches for 35 yards, moving the chains and flashing his upside. With speed, explosiveness, and strong hands, Houston showed why he’s already earned an offer from UTSA this fall. Expect him to become a key playmaker for the Coyotes in the coming years.
