Johnson is a stout running back who has thrived in Centerville’s power rush offense. He led the GWOC conference in rushing for the 2024 season. Parker rushed for over 1,300 yards and averaged 5 yards a carry and 25 touchdowns. He has a great burst off the snap and hits the hole hard. Johnson runs with great pad level and has the strength to run through tackles. He runs with good tempo and is decisive in choosing his holes.

Johnson shows excellent burst to get to the second level and can read rushing lanes very well. Johnson can get physical or he can show good balance and tempo to be able to make men miss trying to bring him down. I saw Johnson in person during a beatdown against Dublin Coffman in Centerville’s regional semi-final game. While other players also had great performances, Johnson led the way in the rushing category for his Elks, which is how Centerville wants to win games.
