Owen has been utilized in the short passing game to this point in his career. The quick, shifty athlete has done well in the role, but the opportunity has come for him to take on a larger role within the offense. West’s primary receiving threat graduates and that leaves the door open to a few athletes with roughly the same production. So it should be a fun competition for the go- to job. The elusive playmaker has the talent to put up bigger numbers this fall.
