Oliver Walker Oliver Walker 6'2" | 210 lbs | EDGE/OL La Crosse Central | 2028 State WI of La Crosse Central has had an offseason of growth, packing on the size and moving from that 210 range up to 238 lbs at the Lake Show. When a massive leap in size like that it was important for me to verify that the kid can still do his job with the required mobility, flexibility, and quickness. Oliver didn’t wait long to verify all that was still apart of his game. In the drill work Oliver was able to highlight that he can still quickly change direction and his pad level. Having that athleticism to pair with the new size and strength should make the reigning 2nd Team All Conference DL even more dangerous this fall in his junior season. I’ll definitely be watching.

The sophomore out of La Crosse Central was able to carve out a role for the varsity this past season. The DE/Edge was able to make a noticeable impact attacking off the edge. Oliver is a raw prospect, but he is flashing the tools and technique that should continue to develop and make him a name very well worth knowing. Oliver has a solid get off, plays with really good awareness of what is going on around him so he can find ways to impact plays. The tape also shows that he will flash some active hands that can execute pass rush moves to get past OTs. Oliver also shows a high motor and will battle through multiple blocks to get to the football. Check out his tape for yourself.

Another La Crosse Central athlete to make a name for himself was Oliver Walker Oliver Walker 6'2" | 210 lbs | EDGE/OL La Crosse Central | 2028 State WI . The sophomore DE checked in at 6’2″ 210 lbs with a 6’3″ wingspan and 9″ hands. Oliver is coming off a season where he was able to make a consistent impact off the edge for the varsity. While he is very raw, Oliver has tools that he leaned on for his success. Like a quick first step to get into the backfield and a nice closing burst. Walker also flashed some very effective hand fighting moves. As things start to come together more fluidly and Oliver gets bigger, faster, and stronger, we could see him become a game-changing edge defender.
