A young man I pounded the table for years over end, recently announced his commitment to Shippensburg University. I’ve gone on record saying this kid is a Division One talent, the PSAC got yet another gem stashed away likely to be dug up by FCS programs in the future. In his corner for three-plus years, hopefully, he continues to impress his coaches at the next level.

Nymeir Appling Nymeir Appling 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Father Judge | 2024 State PA ‘s film is legit. He made one of the best catches I have ever seen. He was running a slant route and the ball was thrown behind him and he reached with his one arm behind and snagged the catch. An incredible catch. He made several other great catches on the year as well. He is a legit homerun threat every time he catches touches the ball. Appling is impressive as well because he is good after the catch. He also does a good job running by defenders to make big plays.  Appling recently picked up an offer from Shippensburg University and I expect more offers coming his way.

I’m a broken record at this point. Yet here we are, halfway through October, Father Judge’s Nymeir Appling Nymeir Appling 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Father Judge | 2024 State PA is still without an offer. Legitimately believe he’d be a steal at the FCS level, let alone the PSAC, who are all over the kid from what I’ve heard. His junior tape alone should have garnered suitors. If not, his senior tape should do the trick. 600 receiving yards to his name through seven games, all of this on just 24 receptions. Appling also leads his team in overall scoring, which is rare for a wideout to do at any HS. Has scored in every game this season except one, scored twice while I was in attendance against PJP2. I’ll be excited to see how Appling is doing this time next year, likely making his future coaches wonder how he fell to their level. Either way, this is one of the best two-way prospects the PCL has to offer and has been for some time now.

Unsure of what Nymeir Appling Nymeir Appling 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Father Judge | 2024 State PA did this past weekend. I am, however, aware of his awesome production through two games so far. Appling has eclipsed the 120+ yard mark through the first two weeks of the season, reeling in eight balls for 260+ yards of offense, scoring once in each game too, all while putting in work on the defensive side of the football. I’ve been standing on the table for this kid for what seems like an eternity, it’s time someone pays attention. With coaches peeking in on three-game tapes, I hope a school sees the potential this young man has at corner or WR.

Came in a narrow loss, highlights are on Hudl if cannot find on Twitter. Appling would probably prefer to boast in a winning effort, yet his efforts won’t go unnoticed. Yerkov was able to get free and hit an open corner route ran by the seasoned X receiver in Appling. Poor angles by the DB let Appling loose for a 70-yard score. Ensuing tape does highlight how much bigger and stronger Nymeir was opposite his DB matchup. Put forth a clean and powerful block later on tape too.

Could be on this list at DB too. A top 100 prospect who I’ve stood on the table for. 6’2, 185, quality DB reps to the point where he could be a safety at the next level. Hands and athleticism too good to keep him bottled up on one side of the ball. Check previous posts for full evaluations. Should be a fit for local FCS programs, that was the floor I set for him after watching him work all Fall. We’ll see what happens moving forward. Unsure if he’s hit the camp circuit.

I’ve been harping on coaches with this name. Anyone who reads my work might roll their eyes at seeing Nymeir Appling Nymeir Appling 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Father Judge | 2024 State PA ‘s name on these types of lists. I won’t stop plugging the young man. 6’2, 185. Continued off-season work as a two-way prospect. Might be becoming a special DB/safety prospect. Coaches usually drool over height and athleticism at DB. Throw in natural hands and a willingness to tackle and you have yourself a D1 prospect. His play at Summer camps should open some eyes.

Nymeir Appling Nymeir Appling 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Father Judge | 2024 State PA jumps 120+ spots, moves to the WR position, and is expected to get D1 looks anytime this off-season. Even if he doesn’t, Appling is another 6’2, 180-pound pass-catcher that has legitimate tape on both sides of the ball. He’s one of the few prospects on this list that might be a better DB than wideout. That’s not for me to decide, thankfully. All I know is, I’ve seen this kid produce against outstanding talent in the Philadelphia Catholic League. I trust his hands as much as any on this list.

Tough to not pick a La Salle prospect in their win against Judge, I already think so highly of many Explorers, I decided to go with a Father Judge prospect that is making a name for himself. His performance, along with his tapes from throughout the year, has me ready to label Nymeir Appling Nymeir Appling 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Father Judge | 2024 State PA a real D1-level talent. 150+ yards and a score against a talented secondary.

Ball skills that flash on both sides of the ball. Nymeir Appling Nymeir Appling 6'2" | 185 lbs | WR Father Judge | 2024 State PA proves he can catch the ball with his hands away from his body. Excellent vertical along with excellent body control when going up. Hand-eye coordination is great as well. This kid has the size to be a factor on both sides of the ball at the next level. Legit range at safety, love his understanding of passing concepts, he uses this to his advantage. His reps at DB have his stock through the roof. So long as the rest of the package checks out, I can see a future where FCS schools fight for position with this young man.
