Will Helms | Prep Redzone Scout
Collins was one of four players to move up at least 100 spots in our rankings after a fantastic season with West Charlotte. He’s a playmaker who just makes things happen. He plays in sixth gear the whole time, with elite speed and a reckless abandon on defense that forces offenses into mistakes. He was a key contributor on special teams as well and should find his way onto the field early at Lenoir Rhyne for that reason.

Noah, (despite his frame) was the “biggest” playmaker on the defensive side of the ball during the 3a State Championship game. His play earned him the 3a West Defensive Player of the Game. Collins made several plays behind the line of scrimmage and finished with 11 total tackles. Noah’s biggest impact was his unwavering energy throughout the day.

Noah is a player who has an incredible motor and is fueled to be great. Noah is committed to play college football at Lenoir-Rhyne University, and Noah is a physical player who can excel in either man or zone coverage. Noah does a good job of making tackles and is an excellent blitzer from the slot defensive back position. Noah has helped lead the Lions to the 3A West state semifinals as they prepare to play Hickory for a shot at going to the state championship game.

. Noah kept good coverage over the top of both receivers, never allowing them to get behind the coverage. Noah also showed off his blitzing ability from his slot corner position, recording a nice sack near the end of the first half.

Noah has been one of the most hard-working players that I can remember covering over the last ten years. Surrounded by talented teammates at Chambers the last three years who have gone on to college football, Noah waited his turn and grinded and competed every chance he got. His commitment to Lenoir-Rhyne is a testament to the fact that hard work can pay off. Noah projects as a slot corner on the next level and he shows excellent coverage skills in both man and zone responsibilities. Noah has joined the West Charlotte Lions for his senior season.
