has been a steady and reliable player for the Vikings for multiple years now and finished his high school career with a strong senior season. Casto eclipsed the 1,000-yard rushing mark this season and scored 23 touchdowns on the ground while leading his team to the playoffs. He’s another running back who isn’t going to do anything fancy and is a one-cut-and-go runner. Even as a smaller running back, Casto is a tough inside runner who can also get outside and create explosive runs. He’d be a great value add for a D3 program with potential to play off the edge on defense as well.

has the Vikings reaching heights they haven’t seen in a while with a 3-0 start and putting up big numbers through the first three games of the season. Casto is currently one of the leading rushers in the state and went off against rival Ravenswood in week two with over 300 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Casto is another running back who isn’t going to do anything fancy and is just going to come downhill at you and force you to try to be better than him. He may not be the biggest or the fastest running back in the state, but Casto plays with an edge and welcomes contact. He’s a patient runner who waits for holes to open up and has shown good footwork causing missed tackles with quality speed in the open field.

who went wild in their week two 38-13 win over rival Ravenswood. Casto averaged 11.5 yards per carry on 27 totes for a whopping 311 yards and 5 touchdowns to earn our week two PRZ WV Offensive Player of the Week honors. The Ripley offensive line did a great job dominating up front for Casto, and he did the rest of the work beyond the line of scrimmage. While not the biggest athlete, Casto is a hard runner who’s tough to bring down on first contact and has the athleticism to turn the corner and be elusive in the open field. They’ll rely heavily on his abilities again this season as a multi-year starter for the Vikings.

. Casto was one of their bright spots during a tough season for the Vikings leading them in all-purpose yards with 755 and rushing for 500 and 5 touchdowns. He’s a bit of an unconventional running back for their power run sets at 5’10 155 but Casto plays well above his size. He has the versatility to line up in the slot when they spread it out too, and he finished second on the team in receiving with 229 yards and two touchdowns. Casto can also play outside linebacker even at a smaller size and could be considered an ATH because of how positionally versatile he is. He’s a very tough and fun player to watch and a name small colleges should be all over next season.
