Ripley’s Dayshawn Burdette is another high-upside EDGE player to know coming out of Week 2. The 2027 prospect has a great 6’4 225 frame and a basketball background that makes him an intriguing football prospect. We’ve been eager to get some film on him and are finally able to get eyes on him as a senior and like his upside. Burdette is still a raw player, but his physical tools are impressive for a college program to develop and give him the potential to become a future star at the next level. He’s a player worth keeping close tabs on throughout the season as a high-ceiling prospect.
