Rosga posted a solid 4.71 40 yard time during the testing portion of the event. For his size, he shows great length and physicality at the position, being able to change direction quickly and knock passes away with an impressively wide reach, showing great instincts and timing in his ability to play the ball to knock it out of the receiver’s hands. An experience starter who plays the position very well and continues to flash his growth over the course of this offseason, it’s quite impressive that Rosga has not received much offers so far, as he would make an excellent D3 prospect with high upside.

He finished 5th in the second session at our Prep Redzone Minnesota Showcase during the L-drill in which he ran a 6.84 and had another top-tier time in the pro agility, in which he ran a 4.43. Butt the skillsets that impressed me the most about Nick was his live reps, as the cuts I saw he put together during Indy drills were pretty much on a dime and as tight as the cones would allow. During 1v1s, Nick showed off open hips, that allowed him to track the ball on muliple levels as one of my only 2027s I had on my list from a couple Saturdays ago.

Yet another Cretin-Derham Hall name-to-know, 2027 DB Nick Rosga Nick Rosga 5'8" | 175 lbs | DB Cretin-Derham Hall | 2027 State MN manufactured a stock-rising performance at the PRZMN Spring Showcase in Plymouth. After cranking out a couple of 4.9 laser-verified 40s, Rosga was a tough, in-your-face man coverage cornerback, doing a great job of staying square, keeping the gate closed, and staying in a good position to eventually break on the ball throughout a route. Doing a good job of not overextending, Rosga was contesting catches on a variety of routes all over the field, and was strong, effective, and physical at the catch point. He’ll be a big part of CDH’s potential success this coming fall.
