Rodriguez measures in at 5’10 150-pounds and was the leading receiver in Dakota Ridge’s win over Pueblo West. He had 7 receptions for 118 yards and 1 touchdown. He has good athletic ability due to very good speed, balance, good acceleration, and change of direction. Good release at the line of scrimmage. Smooth cuts while breaking into his route. Very good separation quickness due to his athletic ability and mental processing. Very good catching and ball tracking skills. Very good catch in traffic. After the catch, he uses his home run speed to blaze past defenders into the endzone. He was a consistent bucket all night long, and I would expect him to have another big game.

Rodriguez has been nothing short of electric for his team’s passing attack. Known for his blazing speed and route running precision, he’s been a nightmare matchup for opposing secondaries all season. With 38 receptions for 681 yards and 7 touchdowns, Rodriguez has been one of the most consistent and dynamic receivers in 4A. His ability to turn short passes into long gains and stretch the field vertically gives his offense tremendous flexibility. As his team positions itself for a deep playoff run, Rodriguez’s production and leadership will be key. He’s a name that should be firmly on college scouts’ watch lists heading into the final stretch of the season.
