He has good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, good change of direction, lateral quickness, and jumping. Leeper uses his good read and reaction speed to put himself in position to make the play. He has very good tackling. Good strength to pull the ball carrier down. Good range. Leeper has good get off speed and block shedding. He was stout in plugging up gaps and getting that tackle for loss. He has good competitive toughness and was consistently running around to make the play. Great performance by the senior linebacker.

Leeper has been one of the most reliable under the radar versatile offensive weapons in 3A this season. He rushed for 625 yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his ability to run through contact and keep drives alive. His impact isn’t limited to the ground game, as he added 161 receiving yards and two more scores, making him a dual-threat option that defenses struggle to contain. Leeper’s leadership and poise give his offense stability and his ability to contribute in multiple ways makes him a centerpiece of their game plan. As his team enters Round 1, expect Leeper to shoulder a significant role and look to create momentum shifting plays from the opening whistle.

Though he played in just three games last season, Leeper has already drawn national attention through the camp circuit. During his sophomore campaign, he went 100% on PATs and handled all kicking duties effectively. He made waves this offseason as one of the top kickoff specialists at a national kicking camp. With a return to full time kicking expected this fall, Leeper could quickly re-establish himself as one of the top kickers in the region.
