Strong hands to hold onto ball after the catch with defenders trying to rip it out. Very good body control and adjustment paired with his line awareness. Keeps both feet in bounds on sideline catches, or the back of the endzone. Used as an option QB as well. Very good vision with very good inside and outside running. Lake is a Swiss Army knife who contributes as a quarterback, running back, and receiver. His greatest impact comes as a receiver, where his precise route running and breakaway speed allow him to create separation. Once he has the ball, he is a homerun threat, capable of taking any play to the house. Additionally, he shines in the return game, using his elusiveness and vision to flip the field and give his team favorable field position. Lake’s versatility makes him a dangerous weapon on any offense.
