About Nate

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a team player. I go out an give it 100% day in and day out, training in the off season and supporting my team always. As a kicker I have to be present in all plays of the game, because I never know when I will be needed. Going in at. moments notice in a high pressure situation fuels my adrenaline and I want to do good by my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am engaged in every play, cheering, supporting and encouraging. I like to rally my teammates on the sidelines and pump them up! While I may only get a few touches in each game, I pride myself on being ready at "go time" and supportive of all my guys. Being a kicker/punter can be intense, but I cannot let the last action sway then next in the game, as my team relies on me to make points.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Youth Advisory Board Member for the City of Louisville - 2019-2023 National Honors Society 2025 DECA 2022-Present (State Qualifier 2024/Emerging leader at ICDC 2025) Student Council 2022-Present Academic All State 2024 High School Soccer 2022-2023

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have attended NSLC at John Hopkins University this past summer in their Aerospace program. I also was chosen as an Emerging Leader in DECA at my high school and asked to attend a leadership component of the International conference in March 2025. I know that I am an example on and off the field as an athlete, student and person. I try to exemplify that student-athlete persona.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My town encountered a urban wildfire that lost 500 homes in Decemeber 2021. Our house sustained massive smoke damage and we moved 10 times in 2022. I was displaced from our home for 3 years and finally have just moved home. It was devestating for our town and our family as we basically lost everything. This challenge has taught me that people, not things are what matter most.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to play football. I would like a college that offers Aerospace Enginnering as a major, but if not, mechanical engineering works too. I desire to play football in a stadium that is filled with my peers and their families and is rich in tradition. I am looking for something that is medium - large in size but not limited in location.
