Haas has the physical tools to make an impact in multiple areas and should continue to be a player worth knowing on this defense. With more opportunities, his production could continue trending upward.

He has very good athletic ability due to his very good lateral quickness, speed, balance, acceleration, and change of direction. Haas maintains an elite initial quickness with very good hand speed out of his stance. He’s got a quick twitch to him. Haas maintains a very good bend around the tackle. Uses his very good strength and hand strength to maul through block attempts. Very good get off speed and block shedding. Disengages and quickly wraps up the running back. Haas uses his powerful bull rush to collapse the pocket and put pressure on the QB. He’s a strong tackler with very good pursuit. Another aspect of Haas’s game is how he will punch the ball out of the ball carrier’s hands to create fumbles. Must watch player going into this season.
