Bird is a good downfield receiver who makes plays at every level of the field. He tracks the ball well over his shoulder and does a nice job finishing catches downfield. He’s also a willing blocker on the outside and brings a physical edge to his game. He runs a good slant route and isn’t afraid to work over the middle. He can also be used on quick screens and has the ability to turn short touches into positive gains. He finished year three with 53 catches for 835 yards and 13 TDs, putting together a highly productive season. I like where he’s at right now, and with his combination of size, toughness, and overall skill set, I think he’ll be a steal.
