is another DB commit to OU as the Sooners have landed the top two ranked DB prospects in the state’s 2024 class. McDonald is an absolute athlete and has shined bright on the track and has translated that success to the football field. McDonald is having a fantastic senior season and Westmoore is going to be a team to watch as we get closer to the playoffs. And when you combine him and Graham at quarterback, the Jaguars have two of the best athletes in the state’s 2024 class. It’s going to be interesting to see just how far these guys can take Westmoore in November. They’ve already made plenty of noise this season and they are hungry for more with the playoffs starting up. He brings a lot of versatility to the field when he’s lining up in the secondary.

was a prospect that absolutely exploded this offseason. On the final day of January, he earned his first D1 offer and that came from Oklahoma. That opened the floodgates as the offers just started rolling in after that for the Westmoore safety. He continued his strong offseason during the track season when he was dominant in the long jump. We think that this Westmoore prospect is going to be one of the more disruptive players in the state this fall. And after the offseason he’s had, we don’t think that’s a bold prediction. It will be interesting to see if the Jaguars get creative with using him in different positions or if he will stick to just the safety position this season.

and he immediately checks in as a top ten overall prospect. First off, the Westmoore standout is one of the top track athletes in the class as well. He was dominant this past spring and brings a level of athleticism to the defensive secondary that we don’t see very often. And Patterson-McDonald has seen his recruitment skyrocket this offseason with power five programs coming after the Westmoore safety. After watching Westmoore in person during a team camp, we saw that athleticism and overall playmaking ability first hand and he belongs near the top of the class.
