first got on our radar around this time last year. We were told to watch out for this 6’6 offensive lineman getting ready for his freshman season. The Jaguars threw him into the lineup right away and he answered the call. The ceiling for Skinner moving forward is incredibly high. He got better and better throughout the season and had a very strong offseason. It feels like it’s only a matter of time before his recruitment starts to take off. In our opinion, he’s one of the better ‘29 OL prospects in the state. And the scary thing for 6A-1 is there are two of them.

is a guy that could end up being among the top guys at this position and the OL position is incredibly deep in the 2029 class. But there is so much to like about Skinner’s game moving forward and we’re looking forward to seeing how he looks this fall. Skinner broke into the starting lineup and immediately got the attention of his opponents with his overall size, length and overall athletic ability. You don’t see many 6’6 freshmen that can move as well on the line of scrimmage as Skinner. We were really impressed with his film from last season and then we watched him in person at team camp and he looked the part there.

from Westmoore. Looking back on Westmoore’s 2025 season, it’s easy to get caught up in the record but when you actually look at the personnel on the field, this was an incredibly young Jaguar team so the lumps they took this season could end up paying off in the future. With Skinner specifically, he lined up a lot at left tackle and he’s a prospect with a high upside. First off, he’s one of those prospects that doesn’t look like a freshman. Skinner also moves really well for his size and age and as he continues to get smoother, he’s going to turn into a dangerous pass protector. Skinner and his twin brother (more on him in another article coming) are a solid foundation for Westmoore’s future.
