Taylor possesses one of the highest overall ceilings in Nevada’s 2028 class thanks to his rare blend of size, explosiveness, and athletic ability. At tight end, he creates matchup problems with his ability to stretch the field while also providing physicality as a blocker. Defensively, he explodes off the edge with impressive burst and leverage, consistently disrupting opposing offenses in the backfield. His combination of power, athleticism, and relentless effort allows him to dominate on both sides of the ball against quality competition. Defensive end currently projects as his strongest college position, but his versatility makes him one of the nation’s premier two-way prospects.

Taylor debuts as the top overall prospect in PRZ NV’s initial 2028 rankings after showing his unique combination of size, athleticism, and physicality as a TE and EDGE for Desert Pines. He’s a powerful athlete at 6’3″/235 that shows his basketball background in his ball skills and body control as a pass catcher and plays with speed and quickness on both sides of the ball. Explosive getting off the ball, can manhandle DE/OLBs as a blocker, and is a highly disruptive edge rusher. Taylor has added four D-I offers this year including Washington, Arizona St., and Cal.

Taylor picked up his second D-I offer from Washington to start the new year. The 6’3″/235 two-sport athlete (football, basketball) showed promising upside at both TE and EDGE spots for Desert Pines last season. He has a bright future as one of the top freshman prospects at this early stage of the 2028 recruiting cycle. Taylor’s first offer came from UNLV last summer.
