Similar to Scott at Pocola, Victory Christian’s Michael Doctor Michael Doctor 6'1" | ATH Victory Christian | 2024 State OK has slid into a wide receiver role when it comes to his future at the next level. But we can’t help but wrap up Doctor’s high school career with him as an athlete. Because just like with Scott, Doctor was a standout on both sides of the ball and he’s also a star for the Conquerors on the basketball floor. But Doctor is headed out west to SWOSU to play wide receiver and we have no doubts that he can play at a high level on offense. As an overall football prospect, Doctor somewhat flew under the radar but we think he has a bright future at the next level on the gridiron.

More people should be talking about Victory Christian senior wide receiver Michael Doctor Michael Doctor 6'1" | ATH Victory Christian | 2024 State OK and he has a chance to make them wake up in the next two weeks. The Conquerors will act as if the playoffs are starting this week when they hit the road to face #10 Kansas this week. Next week they wrap up the regular season against #6 Kiefer. And fortunately for Victory Christian fans and unfortunately for Victory Christian’s opponents, Doctor appears to be playing some of his best football right now. In the last two weeks, Doctor has recorded nearly 400 yards receiving and six touchdowns. He had four touchdown receptions in the runaway win over Sperry last week. Doctor is also one of the better dual-sport athletes in the state’s 2024 class as he’s a star on the basketball floor. But more people need to pay attention to the dynamic abilities of Doctor when the pads come on. All eyes should be on Victory in the next two weeks and Doctor can show who he is.

Victory Christian continued to be one of the more balanced and high-scoring offenses in Class 2A. The Conquerors rolled to a win over Morris and the passing attack was outstanding. He finished with just over 150 yards and three touchdowns as he finished with 11 catches. Doctor is a senior wide receiver prospect that we think is incredibly underrated. Doctor is also a standout on the basketball floor but we think Doctor could play football at the next level as well. Victory Christian’s offense has been on a roll this season and it’s going to take a strong effort from someone in Class 2A to slow the Conquerors down. We’ll be keeping an eye on Doctor and Victory in the last two weeks of the season when they play Kansas and Kiefer, who are both unbeaten.

Doctor is an outstanding basketball player but he has started to match that production on the football field. On offense, Doctor is going to be Victory’s top target in the passing game as a wide receiver. He finished with nearly 1,000 yards receiving and eight touchdowns last season. On defense, Doctor was a ball hawk in the secondary and he finished with four interceptions on that side of the ball. There are quite a few dual-sport athletes in Oklahoma that are incredibly talented in basketball and football this season. Doctor definitely belongs on that list and we’re looking forward to seeing what he can do on both sides of the ball this fall.

Doctor is an outstanding basketball player and it makes sense when you watch what he’s able to do on the gridiron. He’s a great wide receiver and then turns around and is a shutdown defensive back. Last season, Doctor was a big play receiver for the Victory Christian offense as he finished with just over 900 yards receiving and had eight touchdowns on the season. He also had four interceptions on defense. We think that those numbers will only go up as the connection between him and Hamilton continues to get stronger. Doctor is going to be one of the best two-way players in Class 2A this fall and should be incredibly special.

Like Scott at Pocola, Doctor is a two-sport star for Victory Christian, and he stands out on both sides of the ball. Doctor has been a standout as a defensive back since his freshman season. But this season, Doctor emerged early on in the year as a standout at the wide receiver position. He was Victory Christian’s leading receiver early on in the year and established himself as a big play weapon for the Conquerors on the offensive side of the ball. From shutting down top receivers to becoming one himself, Doctor is a prospect to keep an eye on moving forward. Whether it’s as a wide receiver, cornerback or even a guard on the basketball floor, I think that it’s safe to say that Doctor is a prospect that should play at the next level. Which sport and what position is still up for debate.
