Comer displayed impressive coverage skills, with quick footwork and fluid hips during his backpedal and when changing direction. He has underrated speed, which allows him to stay step-for-step with receivers through their routes. Good physicality in coverage, displaying the willingness to challenge receivers at the catch point. He is also quick to break on the ball to make a stop against the run.
