One running back that I’m excited to see in a bigger role this fall is Creighton Prep’s Angelo Walker Angelo Walker 6'0" | 195 lbs | RB Creighton Prep | 2026 State NE , who flashed as a multi-skilled offensive playmaker. Angelo served as the backup RB last season, where he still managed 238 rushing yards and five touchdowns on only 55 carries and was the team’s leading receiver with 24 receptions, 296 yards, and two receiving touchdowns. Angelo projects best at RB, where he looks natural running the ball, using his vision and burst to carve out nice gains. Walker does a good job of identifying where the open lanes will be and does a great job firing through his gaps with nice explosiveness. He’s twitchy and agile enough to make quick cuts in space and find ways to bounce run to the outside. Once he finds the open field, Angelo can accelerate and quickly hit that next gear to separate from the defense. Walker’s versatility also allows for you to slip him into the slot where he can go in motion, run a solid route tree, perimeter block, and just be involved in some form or another. Angelo holds offers from Midland and Peru State, and this number is expected to grow with a productive season.
