The second player heading to the combine from Boonton, Metin Ahmedi Metin Ahmedi 5'8" | 165 lbs | WR Boonton | 2025 State NJ is on the receiving end of Boonton’s aerial attack. While the team runs the majority of the time, Metin made the most of every opportunity, as half of his receptions went for long touchdowns. With the play action Boonton runs, Metin always has a step on the defender as they are caught peeking into the backfield. Metin can get them to bite on the run and proceed to blaze on by. He may be a shorter receiver, but he is an absolute playmaker. I’m looking forward to seeing Metin’s speed and agility on display at the combine.

Built with a burst of speed off of the line, Metin Ahmedi Metin Ahmedi 5'8" | 165 lbs | WR Boonton | 2025 State NJ is big time receiving threat for Boonton. Catching 5 touchdowns and 422 yards in 2023, Metin was set up for some big play opportunities in Boonton’s run heavy offense. A quick twitch receiver, Metin’s speed allows him to beat his man right off the line. Once the ball is in his hands, Metin can react quickly and dodge in and out of would-be tacklers. A receiver that can track the ball over his shoulder well, Metin is sure to burn some defenders in 2024.

Getting their record back to the .500 mark this week was a big deal for Boonton, and Ahmedi took this week’s objective personal. Boonton defeated Parsipany by a score of 52-20 last week. As a kicker, Ahmedi was a perfect 7 for 7 on PATs and 1 for 1 on field goals. Additionally, he made 2 stops on defense and caught 2 passes. Those two passes, however, went for 126 yards an 1 score. Boonton will look Ahmedi, a junior, to come up big again this week at Northern Warren.
