In recent memory, Boonton has been home to shorter prospects who can really stretch the field with their speed. Add Kali Polanco Kali Polanco 5'9" | 155 lbs | WR Boonton | 2028 State NJ ‘s name to that list. At receiver Polanco is a hard runner who tracks the ball over his shoulder very well. Additionally, we see him use his hands to catch the ball and never the body. At moments it looks as though Polanco is shot out of a cannon, making me think that he is the type of receiver you must press and be physical with at the line of scrimmage. Sacrificing his body is not an issue, as Polanco will make diving catches and jostle at the top of his route with his opponent for 5050 balls. That said, I think Polanco is more physical than I expected. Overall, I think he is a sneaky player that manages to slip by you and get open quite often.
