has been one of the more consistent kickers in the Tulsa area over the last several seasons. Getting recruited as a kicker is incredibly tough and you’re more than likely going to have to accept a preferred walk on offer. But when we throw on the film for the Rejoice standout, it’s clear that he’s one of the better kickers on the east side of the state. First off, Price is an absolute weapon on kickoff. An underrated part of football is when you have a kicker that routinely puts the ball in the back of the end zone on a kickoff. Price does just that and the team’s ability to limit big plays is impacted. Then Price showcased that same leg power on several field goals during his senior season. One kick in particular was good from 46 yards and it had enough room to be good from 50+ yards. Price has a soccer background and the power and consistency on his kicks should not be overlooked moving forward. There isn’t much to critique here for Price as a prospect. The biggest critique unfortunately is that he’s a kicker. The spots for him at the next level are limited because of it but wherever he lands will be happy to have him.
