A three-sport athlete reporting a 3.907 GPA, Griffin doesn’t have a lot of free time. Golf and wrestling are what he’s doing when not playing football, where he was first-team all-state offensive lineman a year ago. Griffin contributed six solo tackles and a pair of stops for loss last year, too. During his junior highlight video, we witness how he operates. Lining up at right guard, Griffin fires off of the snap in good time and is powerful at the point of attack. Far from being a slug on the inside of the O-Line, he moves very well, which aids him in picking off defenders in space. Griffin understands leverage from wrestling and uses it to his advantage on the gridiron.
