While there were several skill position prospects who contributed mightily to the South team’s offense – some that very well could have been named the Alpha Dog Skill player – the unequivocal Alpha Dog of the linemen was Summit’s Mason Dorsett Mason Dorsett 6'1" | 205 lbs | DL/OL Delbarton | 2030 NJ . He was the best lineman on the field regardless of team, and regardless of side of the ball. Offensively he started at Right Tackle and did his job on nearly every play, opening up gaping holes for the skill guys and doing his best to keep them clean and upright. Defensively is where he made an even bigger impact in the game. Rushing off the edge, even when he didn’t make a play that resulted in a stat for him, he was a force. For example, in the third quarter, on back-to-back plays, his penetration resulted in a tackle for loss (by a teammate) and a holding call.
