He holds up to some of the top pass rushers in the state and is a lineman with a good frame and plays with good pad level. He is a player who is currently being overlooked in recruiting.

Mason took on some high-end EDGE rushers on the evening and more than held his own. He has good feet and, against explosive rushers, has the lateral quickness needed to stay in front. He has good technique, and he won many of his reps on the evening. He had a good showing.

Mason has excellent size and is a lineman whose had an impressive offseason. He has an excellent base and shows good lateral movement. His hands are good, and he doesn’t overreach. He’s a player who should get D1 looks in recruiting and has all the tools you want to see. He is best as a tackle, but can slide in if he has to; he has the footwork needed to work the second level and is an athletic lineman.
