Parker is an exciting athlete who has been a gadgety player for them offensively, he’s been asked to be a running option and the signal caller has good size and physicality. Defensively, he’s been a backer who is versatile and can rush the quarterback or drop back in coverage. He doesn’t get lost in space and his background as a signal caller allows him to anticipate where the opposing quarterback will be going with the ball. He’s primed to take over as the starting quarterback next year, but this year he’ll continue to help out wherever he can.
