and he definitely has earned that “standout” moniker. He’s also a standout in basketball and it’s easy to see why. Bishop is just a really talented athlete that does a lot of things well. The first thing that stands out with Bishop’s film is the touchdowns. It’s score after score and they come from a variety of ways and positions. He lined up at running back and wide receiver on offense and he was just as likely to score by taking a hand off or a quick screen the distance as he was beating his man in a 1 on 1 situation on a deep ball. Another thing that really impressed me was Bishop’s ability to break tackles and get out of traffic upright. He has a very strong upper body and is very difficult to bring down in a 1 on 1 situation. But there’s some serious speed there as he is very dangerous in the open field, hence all of the touchdowns. We definitely want to see Bishop in person for further evaluation as an overall athlete.
