Keeping tabs on prospects coming up through the Valley program is a wise practice. The school is among the state’s best at producing talent for the next level. With the Tigers graduating their top two receivers from 2025, opportunity exists for players prepared to seize it. Sciorrotta appeared capable of being one of those guys with his performance at the Back 2 Ballin High 2026 7v7 Tournament during the middle of April in Cedar Falls. He regularly beat defenders with crisp routes, burst and speed. The sophomore changes directions well, which helps him lose the opposition. He adjusts routes based on the defense presented, showing he has a keen feel for the game. Sciorrotta’s skill set would work in the secondary, too, at a school with a history of developing versatile athletes. Whether he ends up catching passes or defending them on the next level, Sciorrotta would be an asset on special teams. Pencil this kid in for a breakout campaign in the fall after he caught two passes for 61 yards and a touchdown for the Valley varsity last year.

Sciorrotta didn’t see a lot of action on the Valley varsity in 2025, but the sophomore made the most of the chances presented to him. For a team that went back to The Dome, he caught two balls for 61 yards and a touchdown. Sciorrotta’s lone punt return was taken back 56 yards to the house. That sounds like a player the Tigers will be looking to utilize more in the coming year, especially to address graduation losses at wideout and the return game. Sciorrotta posted highlights from the first four games of his 10th-grade campaign. On them we witness a receiver capable of dinging the defense on all three levels. He runs crisp routes to stretch the field or operate underneath. He can take a screen and make people miss, too.
