A First Team All-Eye Test and All-Lobby Selection from Holy Angels, PRZMN still remembers the first time he saw the Jacobs twins, backdropped on a beautiful Lake Bemidji near-sunset at the Bemidji State War on the Shore Big School Team Camp. With rare physical size and tools to work with, Jacobs was on big-time “breakout watch” and was a kid whose film PRZMN was eagerly awaiting to devour, and now that we’re nearing May, I’m surprised it hasn’t paid off in more Division 1 attention. A big reason could be the lack of verified measurables and athletic data, as I couldn’t get the Jacobs boys to any PRZMN Showcases and they didn’t camp anywhere last summer to my knowledge, so as we near the summer, it may have to be up to their Summer Camp SZN performances to really bring in the cheddar.
On tape, though, the the 5T long, disruptive, and bendy presence on tape who closes quickly and was living in opponents’ backfields in 2025. Jacobs‘ does a good job of readjusting and breaking down in space to make 1v1 tackles in the backfield, and he demonstrates a great get off and flies off the ball with pace. Jacobs‘ can pursue out to the sideline and shows some exciting overall play speed – plus the motor to boot – for his size, and he doesn’t get tied up by OL at the LOS and can shed quickly and with intention. Plus, the 6’4 DE can run the hoop and bend the corner a bit. Pad level may be an issue, he is hopefully adding weight, strength, and pop in his punch to make more of an impact at initial contact, and could fine-tune his pass-rushing moves and strategy both pre-snap and mid-rep, but there is some can’t-miss physical gifts and tools slapping you in the face on his junior tape, so PRZMN will be watching closely as we hurdle in the Summer Camp Circuit.

Junior Marcus is a fast-rising edge defender with length, quickness, and natural hand use. A late convert to defensive line, he has quickly flashed disruptive ability, recording a sack on the opening drive against Pine Island and providing steady pressure throughout early games. At 6’4″ with long arms, Marcus wins with first-step quickness and leverage, using well-timed swipes and rips to defeat blocks. A productive offseason in the weight room added 30-plus pounds, allowing him to anchor against the run without losing agility. As his technique catches up to his athletic gifts, Marcus projects as a coveted college edge prospect with two-way potential.
