One of the most intriguing QB prospects this offseason, the former Irish’ starting QB who transferred to Holy Angels this offseason has been one that’s flown under my radar, but Will Brookins Will Brookins 6'4" | 190 lbs | QB Academy of Holy Angels | 2027 State MN made his presence clearly known leading under Center. Brookins showcases great size for his frame, and he’s continued to grow with his mechanics this offseason, showcasing quick zip and a tight spiral on many of his throws on Sunday, and threw some of the prettiest deep balls I’ve seen in person. Brookins’ development as a passer can be attributed toward his work with his QB trainer and former Hawkeye QB Nate Stanley. Brookins has been putting in the work over this offseason, and with an opportunity to start for the Stars in 2026, there’s no telling how high Brookins’ ceiling will be as a senior.

Rosemount’s backup QB in 2025, Will Brookins Will Brookins 6'4" | 190 lbs | QB Academy of Holy Angels | 2027 State MN has a great frame for a pocket-passer and really knew how to use it, clocking in with an overall strong day of work with his MN Air Raid 7v7 squad. Brookins throws a good ball that flashed some noticeable arm strength and accuracy throughout the tri-team exhibition, and Brookins also showed off the best touch of any QB in attendance. MN Air Raid’s offense wasn’t skipping a beat no matter which QB was heading its offense.
