He is a smaller QB who compensates with his feel and precision. He gets the ball out quickly, and I thought he did a good job as a freshman of placing the ball away from defenders and giving his receivers room to run under it. Hudspeth has time for his traits to come around, but he produced regardless, and that should hold.

“Hudspeth has some legit arm talent- his strength, accuracy, and ability to complete huge throws through contact show up a ton on tape. I’m really impressed with his skills as a passer, especially seeing how he attacks deeper parts of the field. Hudspeth is excellent at leading his receivers, hitting them perfectly in stride to complete some explosive plays downfield.

I’m also really impressed with how well Hudspeth sees the field. He’s quick and decisive, never putting the ball in harm’s way, and constantly finding the open target. We all need to watch out for him next season. I think he has a huge career ahead.”

Hudspeth had a huge impact through five games, completing 48/68 passes for 591 yards and 9 TDs to 0 INTs.
