Rogers has made a huge impact both as a pass rusher and as a run defender. I’m excited to see how he performs going into next season. He’s quickly developed into a dominant piece on their defensive front.

Rogers is an explosive edge defender with a twitchy first step that immediately stresses opposing tackles. His wiry strength and bend allow him to slip through blocks and finish plays in the backfield. Rogers’ quickness off the snap gives him a natural advantage as a pass rusher, and his motor never fades. He’s the type of edge threat who can consistently generate pressure while holding his own against the run.

Rogers is a really effective pass rusher off the edge that uses a variety of moves to beat offensive linemen into the backfield to generate pressure and take down opposing quarterbacks. It’s super impressive watching Rogers in the trenches- he’s explosive off the snap, has great bend, and constantly finds ways to impact the run and pass. So far this year, Rogers has been a huge asset for Hueytown’s defense- he’s become a dominant pass rusher and run defender up front that has made a lot of big-time plays throughout this season. Teams at the next level are starting to take notice- Rogers recently picked up his first offer from North Alabama, and with how well he’s played, we can expect to see more head his way soon!
