Lawson is a long, lanky athlete who plays on both sides of the football. He might project best as a receiver, where he eats through cushion with his long strides and can bend and flex in his routes to break off his stem. As a defender, he is smooth when staying in phase with receivers and will violently throw himself into ball carriers. I like the upside here.

Brayden Lawson is an explosive WR/ATH from Gulf Shores that we’re going to have to look out for over the next few seasons.

Lawson is equally talented on defense. He’s a talented DB who can quickly react to opposing offenses, flying in to break up and intercept passes all over the field. I’m really looking forward to watching him over the next few years. He can make a huge impact on both sides of the ball.”
