Luke Ardito Luke Ardito 5'11" | 225 lbs | LB St. Edward | 2027 OH is a starting Class of 2027 inside linebacker for St. Edward. Ardito may not have Division I size – the big 6-foot-2-plus frame often seen by upper tier college coaches – but he makes up for it with a high motor, great tackling technique and very good closing peed. Ardito can thump ballcarriers, run and hit. He has very good instincts and flows to the ball. Love how he squares up on contact and gets downhill. Ardito picked up his first offer from Gannon.

Luke had a great Freshman season in 2023. he plays as a DE. Against the pass, he is quick off the ball and shows very good flexibility as he gets under the pads of the OT. Once he disengages, he plays with a very good motor and closing speed in pursuit before finishing up with a sack. Against the run, he quickly reads run/pass and he uses his very good athleticism to defeat the OT. He quickly locates the RB before playing at a good pad level. He explodes at the point of attack and delivers a nice form tackle behind the LOS for a TFL.
