The top performer for the Panthers, Santana shows good vision, quick feet, and good speed. In this deep run game playbook, Santana shines with his vision and patience to wait for blockers to latch on and isnt pressed to find his lane right away which I love to see. He has also shown the ability to split out as a WR, showing good hands and good ball-tracking downfield. Last playoff game agaaint Lutheran Santana showed out with 222 rushing yards on 7.9 yds per carry! I expect another big game from Santana this week.

Santana had a monster game for Pomona. The 5’8 170-pound running back had 28 carries for 222 yards. Santana has very good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, acceleration, good speed, and balance. He has an explosive quick start at the line of scrimmage. Very good inside running. Picks, slides, and accelerates into the hole. If one’s covered, he uses his explosive jump cuts to pivot into the open one. His longest run of the day was 63 yards. Santana isn’t afraid of putting his shoulder down to truck through the defender or create extra yards. I expect Santana to continue balling out in next round.

Santana is a shifty, explosive back who thrives in open space. His quick feet, sudden cuts, and field vision make him a nightmare for defenders. He’s especially dangerous as a receiver out of the backfield, turning short passes into big gains. Santana shows great anticipation near the red zone, consistently finding ways to finish drives. With a legitimate shot to eclipse the 1,000 yard mark this season, he’s primed for a true breakout campaign.
