Despite limited varsity snaps, Lopez made the most of his time on the field by securing three interceptions in just four games. He has natural tracking skills and does a good job reading the receiver’s route to break up plays. He added 14 tackles and a tackle for loss, proving he can contribute when called upon. As he earns more reps, Lopez has the potential to become a known name in the 2A ranks and emerge as one of the more dangerous ball hawks that you will need to know.
