Herndon’s Logan Lopez Logan Lopez 5'10" | 190 lbs | K Herndon | 2025 VA has been one of the best kickers in the state the past couple of years, he will be taking his talents to Hampton University in 2025. Setting numerous records for the Hornets in his career, Lopez was a first team all state kicker and all district punter. Watching him place the pigskin live this past season I can attest he is a Division 1 talent.

It has always been my dream to play Division One football, and after countless hours of dedication and hard work, I am proud to say that dream is now a reality. With that, I am beyond excited to announce my verbal commitment to Hampton University!

Logan is off to a strong start on the year. Based on his mid-season highlights video below, he is averaging 65.5 yards per kick on kickoffs, 100% on PATs, and 1/2 on Field Goals with one being blocked. His film also shows his punting being good this season as well. He has what it takes to kick at the next level.

One of the best kickers in the state will kick at the next level believe me on that take. Logan Lopez Logan Lopez 5'10" | 190 lbs | K Herndon | 2025 VA had an outstanding junior season, with my colleague Cole breakdown below:

Logan is a kicking specialist to watch in 2024. He has very good leg strength and accuracy on kickoffs, forcing touchbacks on 76% of his kicks. He has good accuracy and bounce on his punts. He was 100% in PATs this past season while going 6/9 on field goals. He was named 1st Team All-Liberty District kicker, and 2nd Team All-Region kicker, and has already started training this offseason.
