He hits the hole with such fury and speed, I would not want to tackle him in the open field.

Costello is one tough young man for Coach Bachman’s squad, at running back, safety and on special teams he is everywhere! He is 5’10 and 185 lbs. of pure muscle, Costello has been on a roll these few weeks in all three phases. I can see why a number of division 3 schools are interested.

Another all region returning starter is running back John Costello John Costello 5'10" | 185 lbs | RB Herndon | 2025 State VA . It is a lot of fun to watch Herndon’s offense the way Coach Bachman finds ways to get the ball to his playmakers. Costello is a bull moose running the football and has good speed and hands out of the backfield.
