About Leonytis
Expert Analysis
Paul Gregorian | Prep Redzone Scout
Taulealea lands on our WL rankings this time around as a key name to keep a close eye on moving through this off-season and is one of the top ’29 OL/DL we have in the northern California region. The Freshman has elite size and the frame for the interior on either side of the ball in college and has tremendous strength and power at the POA. He is a natural bender in his stance, shows good initial explosion and can finish blocks downfield and plays with good physicality and finish abilities at the first two levels. He should have a very successful camp circuit this off-season and be catching plenty of eyes through the winter and spring.

came off the board and went to the East team. While I haven’t seen him play in-person, I watched him up front in the 14U Pop Warner Super Bowl in December 2024 and despite his team taking an L in the title game, I came away very impressed by what I saw. He’s absolutely massive and is built like the old ice chest your Grandparents keep in the garage. Primarily playing Guard on the Offensive Line, he moves well for a kid his size and routinely pulled down the line, ear-holing linemen who didn’t have their head on a swivel.
