He understands how to manipulate defenders with sharp stems, hard nods, and clean footwork to create separation at the top of routes. Whether working underneath, across the middle, or vertically, he runs with purpose and precision. His ability to accelerate out of breaks adds another layer to his route discipline, forcing pressure on defenders to stay in phase. Flashes excellent body control in his routes and as he adjusts fluidly to ball flight. Tracks the ball naturally and maintains balance through contact. Holds three D1 offers but with his strong hands at the catch point and the athleticism/speed to stretch the field or work in traffic, he’s a complete receiver with the tools to be a top end recruit.

The Valley Christian product has had one of the better off-season across the Bay Area. He is an elite route runner with short area twitch that can create separation downfield and has natural hands in traffic and a big catch radius for his size. He shows he can get off press coverage and into the blind spots of defenders while explosive with the ball in his hands and is able to play multiple positions on the perimeter. He took home MVP Honors at the National Preps showcase earlier this winter and should really explode after his junior season.

McElvane is one of the top spring risers across the Bay Area that is having an outstanding off-season, taking home MVP Honors at a loaded National Preps Showcase earlier last month. He is a very explosive playmaker with natural hands, elite route running abilities and with still two seasons in his prep career, he is extremely polished and well rounded as a receiver. He is a smooth athlete that can stretch the field and has tremendous short area twitch, 50/50 ball abilities and excels against man coverage near the LOS. McElvane currently holds three offers from Sac State, SDSU and SJSU and will be one of the regions best in 2025.

McElvane is coming off a very strong sophomore season for Valley Christian and was the wide receiver MVP at the National Preps showcase in Sacramento last weekend. He is an explosive play-maker with natural ball skills and tremendous tracking abilities over the top while able to stretch the field and run a variety of different routes. He displays good quickness out of his breaks and has short area twitch to get into defenders blind spots and has true third level speed in the clear with the ball in his hands. Overall, with still two years left of his prep career he is a no-brainer FBS caliber prospect and holds offers from San Diego State and San Jose State.
